Born in New Alexandria, Pennsylvania, Carol worked as an RN in Lancaster, Ohio for 31 years, retired in 2002 and moved to San Diego where she authored her first book Sowin’ Seeds and Touchin’ Lives. She penned the booklet Encouraging the Encourager, Meditations for the Health Care Giver and has written numerous magazine articles. She has been active since 2007 with Shepherd of Hope and currently cares for Lyme disease patients. Carol has four wonderful children, 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
